Anyone else seen Napolean Dynamite?

I hear its just fucking stupid and tries soooo hard to be funny.

It's funny. Very funny. Not slapstick funny but pitifully sweet.

It's just about people who aren't the most attractive or talented dealing with life and how one's personal convictions held fast determine the better outcome to diversity. Definitely worth a ticket.

I thought it was great, but I can see how some people might hate it. One reason why I liked it is because I knew people just like the characters when I was in High School.

Yup. Came out a couple months ago I believe and was in limited theaters.

HILARIOUS movie. At first I thought "man, this sucks" but then as it progressed I started to like it more, and now the longer it's been since I saw it the more I want to see it again. Here's some funny clips.

When I watched the clips online a couple of days
later it actually seemed even funnier.

I also know people that have acted just like that.

Everyone in the movie acts so depressed and sorry for themselves, all the time
it just finally gets funny.


Pay attention to each new scene, it like starts off still, and then takes about 5 seconds to get going, everyone moves so slow, it's funny.

Very stupid humour though.

Awwww -- thanks for the reminder; my sister said it was great and I've been meaning to see it, though it would be a journey to find it playing somewhere.

The scenes of Napoleon's uncle reliving his football days was a riot.

Did it get released on DVD yet? I know it's supposed to be soon, but am not sure of the exact date.

very dull movie but funny that way... seen it twice and would watch it again :thumbsup

yeah it is, its that kind of humor that makes you thin "was that supposed to be funny?" then the movie gives you time to think, and by the time the scene finishes your laughing.:thumbsup

I loved it... I am waiting patiently for it to come out on DVD... I know a lot of people that did not see it because of the previews and limited release but I can't wait to see it again.

I saw it twice... Totally fuckin funny in a different kinda way... It deff not your run of the mill comedy..

It definitely looks like it tries hard to be "quirky funny," but absolutely nothing from the previews make me think it'll be successful.

I heard it was made by mormons or BYU people or something like that. And that it's funny. It's on my netlfix.

A very average film, has its moments but no big deal. worth a free watch :2 cents:
