I would value that domain at $500 less than what you paid for it.

I think you post in every thread not knowing anything about the subject. Don't think it's easily brandable, it is short, but just can't see a company using it as a brand. Might be worth something if you can prove logistic traffic to it.

KRL 10-06-2004 08:52 PM

I don't get why you think its valuable. What's a carscour?

you don't know what scour means?

you don't need a thesaurus to know what it means

ie: "the bum was scouring for food"

but maybe you have a limited vocabulary, sorry

I've used the word before in day to day speach, but never on my day to day web browsing. I don't tell people I'm going "scouring" for a new car.

Not worth much :2 cents:

Do something with it first, then try and sell it.

Today I am going to "scour" for a car.

Is this a slang Euro term or something?

OK

Here are your main problems:

(1) It is not a common synonym for 'look' and is NOT a synonym for 'find'.
(2) It is more often associated with the meaning of 'to clean' (e.g., to scour the pots and pans).
(3) People don't often associate the words 'car' and 'scour'.

I have heard people say they will go 'look for a car', but I have never heard anyone say they will go 'scour for a car'.

Conclusion - you bought a crappy domain.
