Anybody getting rid of old pc equipment cheap?
I've overtaken our family pc and don't really want to let the kids do their homework or play games on it just in case they uncover something adult, so I'd like to pick a used pc up for them. Doesn't have to be top of the line or very fast, just enough to do research online and play their games like diablo and skatepark tycoon, lol.
Thanks |
Good luck! Hope you find a deal since you are thinking about your kids!:winkwink: :thumbsup

are you any good at assembly? I have all kinds of equipment in various states of disassembly that you can have . . . . the main thing would be the cost of transporting it
I'm sure you can find a good deal on ebay !
oh, one thing though . . . . all of mine have probably been used for adult at one time or another . . . . so you would probably wnt to reformat the drives before turning them over to your kids
I have a slightly used crotchguard I could let go cheap :Graucho
your kids will be happy if you could find something as replacement of the old PC equipment.
I have an Asus A7V8X motherboard with an AMD 2500+ XP (barton) processor
But I'm in canada. |
It would probably be cheaper and easier to find something locally (if you have computer shows in your area).. Cheap parts or machines are pretty easy to come by, but the shipping weight would kind of offset that.
why don't you get yourself a usb external hard drive that you can remove when they want to play
baddog's right about the shipping.. it could cost you more than the computer anywhere from $15 to $50 how about a webtv? I have one I'll sell you cheap and it's not heavy if you're interested mail me [email protected] |
