This board should have a domain selling section
I see domains for sale on a daily basis here .
This board needs to add a category just for buy / sell domains:2 cents: |

it would be nice to keep track of what domains are being sold as well
perhaps catch onto trends etc everyone is buying ringtone sites for example |
would be handy
|
totally agree, infact I mentioned that before :thumbsup
|
Given the amount sold no bad idea. As was said it'd be easier to keep track of them too.
|
Good idea.

Good idea, I see like 5 threads a day about it then lose them in the other crap that gets posted.
|
Good idea, but one of the reasons GFY's so busy is that their main forum is also an announcement forum. Compare with other 'super segmented' sites.
|
I agree a domain selling forum would be better. Tabboo's threads are good but do I want to sift through that much crap? nut.
|
I fuckin' agree ! :thumbsup

I think sellers would still post in the main board...at least to say "hey go look at my sale in the domain forum." They want a lot of people to see their post, that's why GFY is a popular place to hawk domains. Granted serious domain buyers would check the domain board, but it would reduce exposure to casual buyers. and non-buyers who might give a heads up to potential buyers if they saw a good name for sale.
There are several topic categorizations you could also splinter off, like "content for sale," "look at the babe i just took pictures of," "random news articles i'm linking to for sigwhore value" and so on, but it's the same as with domains, I think people want to post in a big busy forum for maximum exposure. |
