Superscript makes the small letters :thumbsup

Right click on cell -> Format Cells -> Font-> look at the bottom check the box with Superscript.

hilite #
menu - format - font
click superscript box

really...y^3 is the correct answer, if you're just being anal about it..forget it..it's not worth it..

Except in Word you can highlight the number then right click and choose Font. Under the Effects heading check off Superscript then click OK.

I had given it to him in ICQ too when he confirmed it was for Word. :)
