Me and my team use Cloudmark's Spamnet filter.
It compares your incoming email to it's database of spam... Extremely accurate... Well worth the price! http://www.cloudmark.com/products/spamnet/ Note: link without ref code - This post is because I love this product |

I'm posting my refcode if anyone wants to use it. As I've been using it since it was beta, I pay half the 3.99 a month it costs, and whoever I refer also does so for 1 year. http://www.cloudmark.com/?rc=fdo4hl |
Can you explain how cloudmark works? Does it still d/l all your mail? Cause outlook has a problem with the amount of mail I get a day just d/ling it takes forever.
|
I run spamassassin on my hosts and then cloudmark in outlook.
|
4Pics, yes spamnet still has to download everything, if that as an issue for you, i suggest you run spamassassin at your server, with it's settings a bit relaxed to prevent false positives at the server, and then spamnet at your machine to filter what gets thru.
What's great with spamnet is how fast it picks up on new spam templates, if one passes thru, and you block it, you can be sure lots of other people are doing the same, so that template won't get thru ever again. |
I still don't use filters (not enough spam yet)

The idea of spamarest is great. However, would be great when I send an email to [email protected] [email protected] is whitelisted right away.
Also where is the email stored? first on THEIR disks, and then when it's whitewashed to YOUR email? |
