Edwards did better then I anticipated though and was very clear in what he was trying to convey.

I think they are both doing an amazing job. This last half hour of the debate Edwards has gotten really comfortable and into his zone.

I say for the debate portion, Cheney had it 60/40. But when it came down to the closing statements, Edwards was great!

In my opinion Cheney did very well, Edwards did very well. I was expecting a big win, but I didn't know who it would go to because they're so different, I thought it depended on the tone of the debate. Turns out I was wrong, both did extremely well and I don't think many votes will change over it.

Fuck, every time I hear Cheney talk for a long period of time I start thinking "oh man he's a pretty good guy, he knows what he's talking about". lol, it sucks, I know the horrible things he's done but I can't help it. To regain my senses I have to go and re-read some of his actual policy.

Those numbers actually surprise me, I guess more people realized that Cheney was lying than I thought. If you didn't know ANYTHING about reality going in to this debate, it was pretty much a draw.

for me the best part was after the debate on ABC they showed Cheney saying in the debate that he never said thier was a connection between Saddam and 9/11 then they showed footage of him on meet the press from about a year ago saying that there was a connection.

I'm watching a re-broadcast right now and I think both candidates are handling themselves well. Cheney is tough to beat. He seems to be a machine.

Look at the polls by VOTERS not pundits. Edwards by a landslide. even polls on San Antonio and Houston newspapers have Edwards at over 90% Tampa Tribune a place where Bush WON in 2000. Over 80% Edwards. VOTERS opinions matter even if they are "wrong"

while I was distracted trying to figure out why my nic card was no longer being recognized, I did hear that, and said "that is going to leave a mark."

I have to say, that even though I was not able to pay attention to it, I did expect to come hear and see everyone saying Cheney got owned. So he must have done pretty well.
