Cheney is the brains of the Bush admin.
Edwards did better then I anticipated though and was very clear in what he was trying to convey. |
I think they are both doing an amazing job. This last half hour of the debate Edwards has gotten really comfortable and into his zone.
|
Cheney owned little John... LMAO!!! thanks for the entertainment Kerry/Edwards!!! The real fun begins in november :BangBang:
|
uhh still on... but yeah, Cheney did win definitely.
He's a pretty smart fucker. Arrrgh. -p |

Did youguys catch it on a earlier time? I thought it was live.
|
It's ending now. John Edwards is so owned.
Got to admint Chenny won hands down. A intelligent individual for sure. Maybe he could standin for Bush Friday. |

BTW, Cheney did very well ( aside from the beginning on Iraq) and is the brains of the GOP ticket. |

|
I say for the debate portion, Cheney had it 60/40. But when it came down to the closing statements, Edwards was great!
|
cheney got owned edwards called his daughter gay on national tv end of story :1orglaugh
|
CNN is calling it a toss up, with undecideds having a slightly better reason to go Democrat.

I missed the debates. I wouldn't doubt if Cheney won. He really is the brainchild behind the Bush admin.
Part of doing business is being a good salesman. |
In my opinion Cheney did very well, Edwards did very well. I was expecting a big win, but I didn't know who it would go to because they're so different, I thought it depended on the tone of the debate. Turns out I was wrong, both did extremely well and I don't think many votes will change over it.
Fuck, every time I hear Cheney talk for a long period of time I start thinking "oh man he's a pretty good guy, he knows what he's talking about". lol, it sucks, I know the horrible things he's done but I can't help it. To regain my senses I have to go and re-read some of his actual policy. http://www.newamericancentury.org/ :helpme It's a good thing that to me, actions speak louder than words. Too bad for the Bush apologists words seem to speak louder than actions. |

Your right he lies with such conviction |
Can anyone else find the polls on the major news network websites? How lame, seems like they're not doing them anymore since last time they actually represented the voice of the people, instead of the voice of the networks.

These polls show that most of America did not believe all of Cheney's lies.
As of right now- MSNBC: 76% Edwards and only 24% Cheney CNN: 85% Edwards and 12% Cheney, 3% sat evenly matched. http://www.cnn.com/POLLSERVER/result...0.exclude.html http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036697/ I think while Edwards never landed a knockout blow he stood toe to toe with the man and won because of facts. I honestly can not believe anything that spews out of Dick cheney's mouth, he is more full of shit than Bush. |

Those numbers actually surprise me, I guess more people realized that Cheney was lying than I thought. If you didn't know ANYTHING about reality going in to this debate, it was pretty much a draw. |
I missed the debate, but the polls all show Edwards kicking Cheney's ass...

I can't believe this idiot will not even pay attention to his own poll. I usually have a great deal of respect for Chris, tonight though he is blowing it bad. |
|
No winners tonight. Both were lame.

for me the best part was after the debate on ABC they showed Cheney saying in the debate that he never said thier was a connection between Saddam and 9/11 then they showed footage of him on meet the press from about a year ago saying that there was a connection.
Sounds like a flip flop to me. |
I'm watching a re-broadcast right now and I think both candidates are handling themselves well. Cheney is tough to beat. He seems to be a machine.

Look at the polls by VOTERS not pundits. Edwards by a landslide. even polls on San Antonio and Houston newspapers have Edwards at over 90% Tampa Tribune a place where Bush WON in 2000. Over 80% Edwards. VOTERS opinions matter even if they are "wrong"

I have to say, that even though I was not able to pay attention to it, I did expect to come hear and see everyone saying Cheney got owned. So he must have done pretty well. |
