Using SpamArrest???
That is all fine and dandy. But if you are using it and you send someone an email don't you think you should add them to your ok list. Or don't you think SpamArrest should do it automatically for you?
It is really annoying to send someone an email after they have requested help or something like that and then I have to jump through hoops to get them the email. I understand it is only clicking a link and typing in a word. I am really surprised more of you are not using Cloudmark. I know several of you who do and this type of problem is not even an issue. Just my rant for the day. |
Eric i had a dream about you and I last night
|
i have filled those things in a few times
and i have as yet to get a reply from the people who asked me to fill it in..lol had one today..i just erased it i never emailed anyone with the address it was from..so cya |
Juicy... I dream about you and Eric every night :winkwink:
Oh.. and Cloudmark here! |
This is all from the lame ass attempt to stop spam.
Fuck, just hit delete. |
I love spamarrest, best thing I could have done. I was getting THOUSANDS of spams/viruses a day and I do mean THOUSANDS.
Since I put on Spamarrest I get 0 spam/viruses. DH |

... and yes, you are correct, it eliminates 99% of the spam, but you'll also lose a couple of legit emails because the sender misses to confirm the challenge response ... on the other hand, how much email would you lose when you'd haad to weed out 250+ SPAMS per day by yourself? |
I have mailblocks
works fine for me ... instead of 100 emails I get 10 :) |
I just set up the filter rules in my email program and 99% of the spam and virus emails get automatically deleted by the rules that I set up.

Watch out Eric, the next thing you know pradaboy will start a thread about how you are treating your customers "disrespectfull" for starting this thread.

What is someone who uses Spamarrest sends email to someone else who has Spamarrest? Wouldn't the emails just ping around each other until the end of time?
|
Spamarrest and Mailblocks - don't they host your mail? You have to download it from them?
What about qurb or something instead? |
