Spiked my interest with the recent merchant threads.

I have 2 MC's and 1 AMEX.

When I was first getting credit cards I wanted to have one of each of the major ones to build my credit for the future.

I've got a MC, Visa, Amex, and Discover.

1 mc, 1 visa, 1 visa/check card

got rid of all the others, including gas cards and store credit cards

Visa

Mastercard

1 Visa/check and one corp MC

i dont have anything

3 personal MC

1 personal Visa

1 personal Amex

1 personal Visa check card

1 business Visa check card

i think i have enough!

I cant live without my credit card. It is a part of me and i use it every single day :)

only 2 - but Im trying to keep the limit down - thats how many people fuck themselves. Have too many cards or high limits and it will work against you if your getting a house, car etc.

When they factor in how much money you owe, they will automatically assume you will run your cards up high, so you could be clean with no outstanding debts, but add all your credit limits up say $5000 on 3 cards - and now - according to the banks that gave them to you - you are credit lists as possible owing $15000 and may fuck up your chance for a loan or mortgage

IM actually getting rid of my MC card, VISA is accepted in the same place.. dont need another one

2 visa, no mastercard.

2 mastercard one visa debit card from my bank.

Mastercard because I don't have to pay any fees.

I wish there were cards that let you switch between accounts somehow.

Theres a lot more MC users then I thought, I wonder what the percentage is among mainstream surfers
