Why do my speakers randomly make noises?
 

Lately, my speakers have been making the same repetitive noises every few minutes. What the hell could be causing that?

Move your cell phone further away from your speakers.

Yeah, didnt know what it was a few years back when it kept happening. Turned out to be my cell.

yeah, that's the cell phone performing a "hand shake" with the network, keeping itself connected and renewing it's signal strength and so on.

Kinda neat how speakers can pick that stuff up.

Yup. That was was the problem.
