I think the best movie he ever did was BAD SANTA with Bernie Mack. That movie was great mostly because of Mr. Mack.:2 cents:

The 'flowered up' english is mostly the vernacular of Elizabethan era England.

Billy Bob was only good in Slingblade. He played a retard. Nuff said.

"Life?s but a walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets upon the stage, and then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing."

billy bob thorton need to improve his craft ,let give him a chance to make his craft better.

jade_dragon 10-04-2004 10:56 PM

Shakespear was the first writter of soap operas. I would only say he was more imaginative because he came before them, but he was not the first dramatic writter. There are still debates over how much of that work was actually his.

A good actor is nothing more than a person who acts "natural" for a role, staying in between being bland and boring and seeming to try to hard by being over dramatic. A GREAT actor can play differant rolls over a wide range. For instance one who can play a good guy and a bad guy, someone caring and someone hateful or one who can stir emotion in those who watch. A good actor is type casted a great one makes the characters come alive.
