partnerships = yey or ney
What does everyone think of full partnerships? The type where all profits and expenses of business are split 50/50?
Are you already partners with someone? Were you? Why not anymore? What about partnering up with a family member? Any views or experiences? Hope to have a good discussion on this topic |
you go with family, you'll get fucked
never tried it, and no matter will never |
Never go into biz with family.
Some partnerships work great, some turn into nightmares. Personally I think they a great way to expand your wealth and have others sharing the workload. You can only do so much yourself after a while and most guys don't want to work as hard as they get older so if you partner with some young energetic guys you can front the money and let them do the work. |
i just made my sister a 50/50 partner with me for our mainstream wedding planning site.
shes a Wedding Planner, I know how to build websites; together, we're making one kick ass site with advertising all over it. split the profits 50/50. :thumbsup |

partnership sucks... i have averaged only $27 per "signup" with those progrmas (including rebills) in the past 2 years
compare that with $35 on regular programs... :2 cents: |

Sometimes things get to busy, to stressful, or you need a vacation. You need someone you can trust with money to take care of the business and to kick you in the ass when your slacking off. And what about all those incomplete, ill get to it soon, projects that you have going on? Imagine having a partner to help make them happen without putting them to the side until theres no more money in it?

Many advantages and disadvantages, you can easily make 4 times your income with 2 people doing the job of 20 people rather then 1 person doing the job of 5. Anyone have any bad partnership stories?
|
if you want to have business and it involves of partnership, you must first know your partner , know him well there are disadvantages and advantages when it comes to partnership.

partnerships suck
|
big nay, if you want something done right, you do it yourself.
|
never do a partnership with family and business mixed
|
I guess it depends. I used to say the same thing, partnerships suck, and never work out, but now I am in the stage where I am getting bored of what I am doing and start getting lazy, and need someone else with me for help and motivation so the cash keeps flowing in

There is only so much you can do by yourself. If you want to put money making to its fullest potential, you will need to hire in-office people for help. Many more things can be done with 2 people and if money is both of their #1's then the work of 20 people can be accomplished. Hiring someone to help you out with in your home or office who has the ability to see what sales and income is coming into your business can be a death trap |

I agree with having one person being the designated boss, however, by splitted profits 50/50, your partner shouldn't have a reason to ditch the partnership, which is the last thing you want. By keeping it in the family, if the partner cheats the business, you can just beat him/her up and tell him not to do it again or you will fine him. Everyone gets lazy sometimes, there is no doubt in my mind that with the right partner and partnership, you can generate at least 4 x your income |
if you have a strong confiidence with your partner you dont have to worry but if not , youre so sorry. might as well stop your business partnership.
