5-8 weeks for furniture?
 

Why does it take so long to have furniture delivered from major chains if they don't have it in stock?

some company did not able to delivered the furniture you ordered maybe because it is out of stock or it is in the process of making

if they have to make it for you, yes 5-8 weeks seems about right

Try waiting for custom made. When I last moved I spent the first few months with patio furniture in the den :)

yup, they had to custom order my stuff but it arrived in 4 weeks!! So, cross your fingers and hope to god that it comes sooner than later!!:thumbsup

I had to wait 3 months for my couch once, a seperate company made the wood panelling on the front, and they were behind.

they actually loose money shipping specialty orders unless you agree to pay the extra - they have to wait until the truck is full before sending it out to the store - even if the product is in another state - they wont ship it alone
