I haven't voted, cuz it all depends on how undercooked it is.

I send that shit back and get a new one or have them cook that shit up right.. They gotta earn their tip somehow...

It has to be damn near walking for me to send it back, I'm into rare

goddam pink meat, and the waiter asks me what i like...
so i tell him no pink and i get this piece of meat that could walk across the table...

if I'm trying something I've never had before then I'll most likely not say anything.

If it's something I know should taste good or be cooked a certain way, I'd send it back without question.

If it's undercooked but not so much so that's it presents a danger (ie medium rare when I asked for well done although I rarely have steak well done) I'd eat it, tell the waiter and not go back there again. Ordering another meal means waiting and I'm usually hungry when I eat out :)

yeah im suprised that they allow hamburger to be served at anything under medium-well in the US

Forget the waiter. You talk to the owner or the manager on duty and get a free meal out of it.

I agree. It's the reason I wouldn't go back. I'm not a fussy eater though so I'd kick up a fuss, eat it and that's the last they'd see of me.

There's a shit load of places to eat and if they can't prepare my food right they don't get my custom again. I couldn't be bothered to wait though for them to possibly get it wrong yet again - I get hungry sitting in restaurants watching others eat :)

just something to remind you, that serving up undercooked food could be serving up e-coli to a child, or elderly person ...who will most likely die from it.

that's not the waiter's fault. it's the cook's. for some reason, fully-cooked meat is a sin. they hate doing it and they won't unless you send it back.
