7-11 endorsing George Bush?

Went to get a cup of coffe this morning at 7-11 and was a bit confused by what I saw:

And NO, it doesn't say KERRY on the other side.

Quite peculiar.

is 7-11 officially endorsing Bush? I hadn't been there in a while.

Damn, that's fucked up for sure. Bad business move IMO, but I'm sure the Bush admin paid a hefty amount for that stunt!

brizzad 10-04-2004 09:04 AM

seems like a bad business move to take sides in something as big as this

Every Cup Counts!

As the nation?s largest convenience retailer and an American icon, 7-Eleven?s goal is to get out the vote ... first in our stores this month in the second quadrennial 7-Election? Presidential Coffee Cup Poll, but most importantly, in the real election Nov. 2nd.

Although billed as unabashedly unscientific and unofficial, we were surprised at just how accurate the 7-Election poll proved in the 2000 election. So pour up your favorite 7-Eleven hot beverage in a special 20-ounce Bush, Kerry or Third Party/No Opinion cups as a daily reminder to take part in the political process.

Check back here to see how the candidates are faring with the coffee electorate. Store results will be posted within two business days and updated daily.

reynold 10-04-2004 10:43 PM

is it mean that 7-11 endorse Bush for this election? let us try to get the side of the 7-11 to clear this matter.
