Selling Ad Space To Mainstreamers? 10 million hits per month?
 

Okay, here's the dilly yo. I've got a pal whose site gets about 10 million page views per month. It's a mainstream site Rated G. He's looking for advertising sponsors etc.

Anybody an expert in this area?

It has all the info plus the statistics on hits etc.

Considered Adsense? Its a good starting indicator for how much you could be getting. Plus with that number of pageviews I think you don't have to display the "ads by goooogle" part.

You can still sell adspace too, but if it doesn't fill up adsense is always there.

What is a "Rated G" site?

Basic_Man - Rated G - is for GENERAL Audiences - in other words anyone could visit the sites - 4 year olds to 90 year olds :)

Jeff's looking not for affilate programs as they don't convert. I know what he means. He's looking for advertisers who have a product that they are so confident in that if they run ads or have a live ad spot during the show, people will stampede to get that product. I know there's lots of great products out there. Especially nutritional or software or even services.

Jeff doesn't want drugs or pharmaceuticals though unless they're natural, safe.

But the sky's the limit just remember he's a G Rated man with a G Rated site.

He's the one who broke the stories on aspartame poisoning, Mad Cow Disease, The Bush Administration problems, nutritional stuff and that's for starters. Bulk of his audience is very cross cultural demographics so you reach everybody.
