As long as you have gay tours for your site I think it would be worthwhile. Once you go to a gay party you will prefer them over the straight parties, they are so much more fun. :)

Seems like a pretty good deal to us. There is a ton of biz to do in the gay - lesbian - bi - transgender section of our industry.

and yes I would not sponsor a party without something to promote... we would have gay tours before hand...

The three days of events are first and foremost about business being done in a relaxing atmosphere :)

I'm sure you have distinct marketing plans for both gay surfers & hetero surfers & gay/hetero webmasters - so then yes, sponsor away!

Gay people spend more than straight on average right? I would go for it... more disposable income :)

We have varying levels of sponsorship available however, the sponsor packages are now becoming limited.

I think Lee's party is going to be a great chance to reach out to a sector of webmasters that you might not have been targeting in the past. If you're already planning on developing gay tours for your products, why wouldn't you want to reach out to the people who promote them?

Actually there are a fair amount of 'straight/hetero' webmasters promoting niches that aren't their particular flavor - but they know their marketing & what works for the surfer so they promote it.

I used to promote trannies before - although they intrigue me and I do think they give some of us women a run for our money on their dedication to look beautiful - I'm not a tranny & I have kids to prove it :)

If you go to a webmaster gathering - you are going for the power of networking - if you are going with the idea that you are either gay or have to secretly want gays - then don't go you'll probably offend the straight webmasters there.

It isnt a one off party.

It is three days of events ranging from sponsor hosted meals in the shape of a dinner, luncheon and breakfast as well as three nights of after hour suites.

Its worth mentioning that once the only other gay event for the show ends, we will be the only event running for gay webmasters and those webmasters marketing to gay adult surfers to attend :2 cents:

6 events - 3 days = not a one off party :glugglug

Some people never fail to make me shake my head. Who wouldn't want to promote to such a solid webmaster base? I mean besides my homophobe in the thread.

I agree however, as with anything individuals or companies wanting to sponsor any event, not just the Gay Webmaster Bash need to make a solid informed business decision on whether they should or shouldnt sponsor.

We honestly beleive that the Gay Webmaster Bash will offer anyone the best opportunities to get business done in a casual relaxed atmosphere that will stand out from many of the other events.

Of course, the fact that after the Cybersocket party finishes each night at 11:30pm and our suite is the ONLY other gay webmaster or gay marketer event starting at 11:30pm each night means that we should have in attendance 90% of the gay adult industry, thats just in the 3 after hour suites alone :Graucho

We have many webmasters str8 & gay who promote our gay sites (which incidentally are some of the strongest converting sites around).

Be afraid....and let someone else take the money off the table.
