Ever had a moment of clarity when you realized you fucked up your life?

If you had this happen to you I hope you had a chance to stop and change it. If not then you truly have my sympathy.

wdsguy 10-03-2004 12:53 PM

Right after I sobered up from my first joint.... I realized I had fucked up my life for years by not smoking pot.

Need help? I used to specialize in helping guys that were going through a divorce not only keep more of their shit but to not lose their kids.

chase 10-03-2004 08:32 PM

Yup...I know some of you read what was going on with my family. Almost lost my kids, too....and it does suck that it took that to get my head out of the sand. But, it did, and my life, while certainly not less stressful, lol, is definitely moving in the right direction now, and I think we'll end up stronger and wiser than if we had avoided the mess in the first place. You just have to turn a negative into a positive.

PS Hey Pud, we got social services on our asses, too (assuming it wasn't a divorce or something, in which case, sorry for assuming!).....you just have to roll over and play the game their way, by their rules, and don't try to outsmart them. Your kid's worth every sacrifice you'll make, and all in all, it's only a short time that their kids, and once their grown, you can make decisions just for you again.

Yep. About two days into my honeymoon.

I bought a BMW and then lost my source of income two months later, and had a $400 a month car payment. I felt like a fuckin idiot.

But..... two years later I traded it in and bought a newer one in cash :thumbsup

Just proves that you can always pick yourself back up again!

I didn't start smoking pot until 27, so I know exactly what you are talking about!
