Spunky 10-03-2004 11:21 AM

He is already found and being held hostage until Bush needs more votes

gdog 10-03-2004 11:23 AM

The funny thing about this is that will happen. I got some guys I do biz with that are Middle Eastern and in their newspapers they have already reported right after Sept 11 that the US caught Bin Laden.

The other thing they have in their newspapers was the Saddam capture, and if you look at the pics of the bunker the trees around it have dates on them. Well dates do not grow that time of the year on those trees so they say the pics are 6 months old at least. The reason they "captured" him then was because Bush's public opinion was real low and they needed to boost him in the public polls because of the mess in Iraq.

Can't wait for the Bin Laden "captures"

If this does happen this month then that is another reason to vote for Kerry because the current presidency thinks we are a bunch of idiots.

that would be about now then

KRL 10-03-2004 11:35 AM

I really don't think it will have a significant impact on the vote.

Sebo de Macho 10-03-2004 12:00 PM

bin laden will found in g. bush's room having breakfast....

sincity 10-03-2004 12:05 PM

If Bin Laden is captured before the election Bush will lose. Kerry's wife has already said Bin laden will be caught right before the election. That will not look good for Bush. It will seem like we knew where he was all along and catching him now will just look like Bush is trying to get votes when in actuality it will back fire big time.

Prior captures (saddam, other top leaders from iraq and al qaida) have given strong temporary approval rating boosts for Bush. If I recall correctly, Saddam gave him a 10 point approval rating boost, which took about a month to wear off. I think Osama's capture could have a big impact on votes, and the closer it is to election day, the better. Remember that al qaida leader we announced capturing during the democratic convention? He was caught something like three weeks earlier, and Pakistan held off on announcing it until then. Pakistan has a huge interest in keeping Bush in power (we're propping up their corrupt military dictatorship with money and arms), and would easily do the same with Osama if they thought it would help Bush.

Pleasurepays 10-03-2004 12:14 PM

haha. another conspiracy theory that would involve 100's of people working in perfect sychronicity and in secret, planning a massive election coup that will never be figured out by anyone.

a president can't get his cock sucked in the oval office without being impeached.. but hiding Bin Laden and later announcing his well timed capture to a very stupid 6,000,000,000 people who will never figure it out makes perfect sense!

You, sir, are a gullible idiot.

Bin Laden was splattered over a cave in Tora Bora in December 2001.

If he's not dead he's terribly disfigured. Otherwise he would be releasing occasional videos to keep the followers rallied.

I don't think there's any chance the government has him already. Too many chances of loose lips, afterall, he himself would speak one day if captured and put on trial.

That's simply not true. He has released several audo tapes since 2001 and these have been verified as authentic by experts. He's still alive.

boobmaster 10-03-2004 12:39 PM

THE GOVENRMENT DOES NOT HAVE BIN LADEN, NOR DO THEY KNOW WHERE HE CURRENTLY IS.

THE LEVEL OF PARANOIA ON THIS BOARD IS AMAZING

There has not been one audio tape "verified". At most they said they are likely Bin Laden, however some experts said at least one of them could have been his brother.

Tuna 10-03-2004 12:53 PM

Bin Laden has been dead since shortly after 9/11. I'm sure the US took him out, but didn't announce it in public because it would make Bin Laden "larger than life" and a legend - something future terrorists would rally around. Instead, the US uses his name to further our instrusion into other countries such as Pakistan.

That is true. The "average" American couldn't tell you a thing about the candidates and probably has avoided any coverage of it. It may make a little difference who has the best commercials in the lowest common denominator programming over the next few weeks as far as changing minds of fence sitters, but with voter registration deadlines passing in many states the chance of getting new voters is quickly evaporating.
