Im here in LA and I continuously get spammed from Naughty Modeling about new models looking for work , so I contacted them , and low and behold, model is a no show... 3rd time in a row with those guys. Man I fucking hate LA AGents

It's not the agents, it's the models.... hell. 4 out of 10 models that we interview don't show for shoots. Don't even get me started about the ones that don't even show up for the interview, even after you call them the morning of the interview to remind them. -
haha - sorry to laugh but that agency is a joke - I booked a girl with them and they called me on the day of the shoot - said they double booked the model - so I said well I have had her booked for two weeks, cancel the other shoot...they wouldn't - turns out she was making $100 more from the other guy - fuck that - I have never called them back - idiots.Comment

u call a girl offer her say "$800" for a b/g scene, then someone else callls them 20 minutes later and offers them $1000. guess what? they're not showing up at ur shoot, or the classic "oh im running late, can we push it back"

If someone comes up and pays more for a shoot on the same day and at the same time as we have booked her she ned only give us 24 hours notice and we will rebook the shoot for another day. Like this;
"Not a problem Lucy, we are always working and I can get another girl to shoot instead of you tomorrow. How about we reschedule for next week, do you have a period that week?"
Shows I don't give a fuck, have more girls than her, more work and I move straight into rebooking her. She hesitates I tell her to phone me.
Girl gives us less than 24 hours notice, she can phone us when she needs some money, girl does not turn up, then she can go fuck herself.
Going through an agent shows they do not trust me, I do not do business with people who do not truest me.Comment

Why should I pay Jim South 75 or more dollars per each girl. When I looked in the book, picked them, and did all the work tracking them down.
All I needed him for was the phone number. If the girl does a no show, or is no where to be found he does nothing to help. It should have the reverse affect, if a girl no shows a set he should pay a fine as well.

agents and agency fees are always going to be there - if it's a real agency they will earn their fee - I too have to pay for the phone book type agent but you book that chick you know going in what to expect - just tack on the extra dough for the pimp fee. sux but some things will never change - there's always going to be somebody with their hand out - I too move on if it gets ridiculous - plenty of girls ready to step up if the A list doesn't. They usually fuck there hearts out too for the chance o be in a nice Red Ezra movie.Comment

Yes, these girls are huge flakes. But try putting ads in the papers for fresh girls and see how much time and money you spend.
When I put ads in the papers I get like 90% fat black girls and 9
% tranny or old looking girls.
These agents spend a ton of time and money finding fresh girls so I do not mind paying the extra agent fee.
I NEVER spend money on location or anyting else UNTIL i have the girl with me. Does not matter if I call ahead that morning to confirm that she will show because they will lie even if the meeting time is 10 minutes away. They will say "yes, I will be there" even if they know they have zero intention of showing up.Comment

in the entire time we were in LA we never pulled a no-show, and we only missed one shoot....which is why even though my wife and I only work together, we got booked and didn't die out as quick as most couples who only work together...well, that and we can give one hell of a scene! hahaComment

YEA, I had "Kat" booked for Friday with Naughty. I called him up to give location of the shoot and he was not available. So, I called the other number and she was booked with some one else. WTFE?
If you want ho's to show, book them thru the good agents in LA. There is only a few, but the beotches show up. LADirect has their lovely models to the shoots on time with a fucking smile on their face when they get there. Try them next time Joe.

HaHa Ha that's funny, we had an almost identical experience with Naughty Modeling. Booked a cute model via e-mail, no reply. Called and talked to a guy who said he would get back to us, he never did. They seem to have lost a lot of their best models the one we almost shot moved to another agent she was very cute.
I don't mind paying $75- $100 to managers or agents provided they do what they say they are going to do but most like Naughty, Fresh Talent and Cherry, are so unprofessional they don't reply to e-mails or phone calls.
We shoot a lot of models each week so we have to use a few Agents/Managers but this can be a frustrating and expensive business if you start to rely on talent to show up on time ???Comment
