I collect cards and comic books mainly for my son at this point...

I guess I should have realized that it's too much to expect anything but smartass replies to ANY question from 70% of the posters on this board.

I go to flea markets, estate sales and the like. Every now and then you can find something rare and valuable that the seller doesn't realize what it is. I always liked treasure hunting. :)

Yes, hunting is fun but it can also be VERY addictive. And expensive.

I collect fairies and Pocket Dragons, and I have mini collections of angels (cuz my "real" name is Angel) and unicorns from when I was a child. I collected frogs when I was a teenager. My husband collects daggars and swords, especially the rosewood handled kind. My sons collect Yugioh cards.

Sounds like some really cool stuff. I like swords and daggars too.

i collet star wars crap, and some pokemon shit, i keep it in a closet and i enver look at it, im sure it'll all be worth something someday.

I collected Beanie Babies at one time (I have about 1600), also collected Pokemon cards a few years ago. Now I collect Spongebob stuff, and my girlfriend collects unicorn figurines. I'm a big kid :)

as a kid, i accumulated many fine sports cards and other assorted sports memorabilia.

got a 54' mantle in NM condition. 56' mantle in mint. 54' ernie banks in mint. clemente, berra, mays, seaver, ryan... you name it.

got probably 75k in sports cards... as a kid, 13, working in 4 diff. card shops, i was making as much as some of my friends parents.

got a few 1st issue sports illustrated's (aug 16, 1954), baseball signed by mohammed ali and tons of other crazy shit..

oh ya, dont forget the 100 count lot of 89' upper deck ken griffey jr's i paid .40 cents per piece for!

would take multiple trucks to transport my collection. dont get any big ideas, i pack heat.

At your age, you probably have a HUGE collection of those.

i collect ninja turtles and he man toys, my collection has reached a few thou, but its sweeeeeeeet, im building a game room with the outher parts fillled with packaged figures.

I am a HUGE collector of sportscards too, although I sold a lot of them off a few years ago. Do you have any professionally graded cards? You might think about geiing those vintage Mantles graded by PSA. That can add potentially thousands to their value.

I have been collecting toys for as long as I can remember....I collect:

Classic Monster Toys, Aliens, Robots, Japanese Monsters, Batman, Comic Heroes, and various vintage toys from the 1950's.

I would post more but the shelves are full and there is no light - they are really dusty too - been a while since I had time to clean them off.

I have so much shit now I had to quit buying - I am running out of room to store it all - will probably ebay it soon - I will keep the important collection. I will let GFY know when it goes up for auction.
