my friend just called me and said he went to the site and automatically got all these spyware shit installed... i told him no way autotrader would have that shit
so i visit it myself with norton 2005 and the updated shit i have and do some searches for vehicles and guess what , i got all this shit installed on my pc without approving anything

It may not have been autotrader itself... have you applied the latest microsoft patches for dealing with their jpeg display exploit?
