Well free food does always taste better....

i expected it to taste like shit though... but man, they are hot in like 10seconds once you add water and BAM, you got a full kick ass meal.... except for the "power bars" ... EWWW that shit was bad:(

And ya gotta love those cute little Tobasco bottles. I've only tried a couple MREs, but they were surprisingly tasty.

I remember reading that when we started carpet-bombing remote Afghan villages with MREs, the recipients liked most of it, but wondered what the hell the peanut butter was, as it seemed awfully smelly and feces-like to a culture unfamiliar with the substance. :)

British Army issue Rat Packs actually have some great stuff in them :thumbsup

The new MREs are great. If you've had one and you didn't like it, try a different meal. They beat the hell out of the old c-rations!

hahaha.... funny cuz the first MRE i ate i found that lil tobasco bottle and i thought it was the funniest shit... so i started collecting them:1orglaugh



haha thats funny about the peanut butter, but why the fuck do they give you so much... they give you 1.5ounces of the shit yet they give you 4 crackers... i used like 1/4th of the package and still had alot of it on the crackers.... i put the rest on some bread :thumbsup
