RSS Feeds, anyone with experience?
I own an online fitness service and I began writing articles daily in effort to target specific keywords, and I just set it up to use in conjunction with RSS.
I notice there is a TON of RSS search engines, is there a site / program that will add / ping a big list of these RSS engines? and roughly how much traffic can you expect? I'm sure it depends on different variables, if so what are they? thanks. |

i'm sure one of these bastards knows :)
RSS is growing and gaining more mainstream exposure through bigger n' bigger companies. This is also evident through the increasing number of RSS feeds and RSS search engines. So I really think it is not something to overlook if you own a mainstream business. -- i have no idea about the uses for adult though. |
i love galleries. i submit them daily. everytime thehun list me, i make money.
please talk about ur experience with galleries. |

Right now the search engines have varying degrees of success. Some crawl, some (like Technocrati) need you to ping them when you update. If you use blogger (which you can do even if you host on your own box), they do a pretty good job of notifying a handful of sites.
if you are using blogger, the more you update, the more traffic you will get. NewsMonster and Feedster do a pretty good job of recrawling regularly so you just need to submit to them once. T |
