Four suicides in Australia child porn case
 

Four Australian men have committed suicide after being caught up in an investigation into child Internet pornography that has resulted in more than 200 arrested and charged for 2,000 offences, police say.

The four men, one in Western Australia state, two in Victoria state and one in Queensland state, killed themselves after being interviewed by police.

Two had been charged with pornography offences.

The Story

"In the tropical northern state of Queensland, a former police officer facing 46 charges related to child abuse computer games, was found dead last month in the first phase of the child Internet pornography investigation, Queensland police said."

... those fucking cowards, been raping kids for years and years, but once confronted ... what an easy way out, I wish all the others will follow.

.....including a male Sydney school teacher who faced 22 child pornography charges that include setting up a video camera behind a mirror in a school changing room to film young girls undressing.

A news report here yesterday put the arrest figure at around 700 and this morning the suicide figure had risen to 5.

It all goes back to that sting a few months back that caught the Russian mafia who were providing the content and the billing.

WOW! This has all these twists to it, it's like a Law & Order case. When I first started reading it, I'm thinking a group of 4 buddies who distributed it and all killed themselves cause they were caught. Not, four SEPARATE cases. That's nuts. Then the people who had child porn surprised me: police officers, teachers, etc.

I heard that one of the guys busted is the owner of a chain of Child Care centres.

it's the only way out 4 them...i'd kill those bustards...

I hope this case involves the toughest penalties the legal system can impose and maybe some new laws and a minimum of life imprisonment can become law! :2 cents:
