Karl Rove: 'We've Got a Couple of Surprises' for Kerry

Bin Laden?

President Bush's top political adviser, Karl Rove, said Wednesday that the Bush-Cheney campaign is planning some October "surprises" for challengers John Kerry and John Edwards.

"We've got a couple of surprises that we intend to spring," Rove told ABC radio host Sean Hannity while explaining that he intends to wage an aggressive campaign no matter what the polls show.

Yes, its sad how many people believe that too - that if you disagree with Bush, and say that the war on Iraq was wrong, that you are siding with the terrorists.

Similar to the "Red Scare" or McCarthyism isn't it?

Thats putting it lightly. As far as I'm concerned Rove is one of the top five most dangerous people in this country.

Only good thing that comes out of Bush getting re-elected is that

A) he can't run again

B) things wil be so fucked up it will kill any chance Jeb Bush has at being President.

Jeb Bush's daughter Noelle Bush was sent into rehabilitation for her drug use, while Jeb Bush simultaneously called for harsh punishment of nonviolent drug offenders (and actively opposed a ballot initiative that would send them into treatment instead).

I lost support for this administration when the Bill Maher controversy was brewing and the White House press secretary addressed it by saying "people need to watch what they are saying".

MR. FLEISCHER: I'm aware of the press reports about what he said. I have not seen the actual transcript of the show itself. But assuming the press reports are right, it's a terrible thing to say, and it unfortunate. And that's why -- there was an earlier question about has the President said anything to people in his own party -- they're reminders to all Americans that they need to watch what they say, watch what they do. This is not a time for remarks like that; there never is.

Desparation anyone?

Goatse 10-02-2004 02:12 AM

It most likely involves things from Kerry's past. Then again, it would be a risky move considering Bush's past as a drug-abusing slacker who weaseled his way out of the military.
