when you're out with a crowd - do you work them or just be yourself?


personally I've done both - and i find just being myself works 100X better than pretending to be anything i'm not.

It depends on what kind of mood I am in. I tend to stay quiet and stick to the people i know the best. But if i've had a few drinks or am feeling odd i will shmooze.

Adapting and acting are different things though.

of course im just being myself.

Actually I try to be myself the most I can ... sometimes you get in situations where you can't really be yourself because everybody else is trying to play their games and you gotta stept up so you don't look like the looser of the bunch

It depends.

If KB's with me, I can't get a word in.

If I fly solo, I'm 100% me, just talking more then if KB were next to me.

If I'm on a stage infront of people, I slide into my pimp persona.

But my pimp persona is still a part of me that is really me as well.

Just stays quiet most of the year.

Once in a while, it comes out.

It's like, Superman needs to be in costume to be Superman, or else he's Clark Kent.

I'm D-Money in a pimp suit, at the moment I'm just D. Or Darren for those who like to call people by their real names.

Or Darren Blatt if you talk to AaronM or Luke Ford.

My natural personality is to adapt to the crowd actually, unless they are a crowd of people that I do not really want to be around.

I tend to lay back till I figure everyone out then I test and go from there. Works well, I am a very agreeable and enjoyable person to be around I am told

It's better to remain quiet. You exude mystery when you leave more to the imagination. If you try to put on a show, you'll usually come off as a phony blowhard. As being yourself... who the hell likes the real you anyway?

I be myself. No point trying to be something I'm not, and if I try to be people would probably see through it.


I think being yourself in most situations is the best way to act in public.

People can either like me or hate me, I won't loose any sleep over the fact. But if I try to be someone else and then they hate me that would piss me off.
