A Billing Question, Domain Transfer Agreement?
A question about billing:
We used Webstream as a cc processor; recently they transferred all cards processing to a certain PayBuyNet. Now we need to set up our account again. As one condition, its manager, someone from webrevv.com send the Transfer Domain Agrement to sign, with the following explanation: "Basically, we need you to assign the Registrant info to our company name as indicated in that document. You are in complete control of what appears as the Registrant at all times. We are not taking over any admin or security rights. Our bank requires that our name appear as the Registrant for all sites that we process for (like when you do a 'whois' lookup). Again, you can change the Registrant info back at any time, and in this case, you could change it back to your company if and when our relationship would terminate." Here is the Agreement reads: "URL Assignment Our merchant bank requires that the URL for accounts we process for be assigned to us. You maintain full admin and technical rights to the domain(s), and if our relationship with you terminates, you have the ability to change it back immediately. Below is how the Registrant information needs to read. Only the Registrant info needs to change. You do not need to change the Administrative or Technical contacts. Our company name through our bank is H&H Internet NV, Chuchubiweg 17, CURACAO, AN, AN 0000. We will need you to make this change in your domain registration in order to process for you." At this point our domain is registered for our company's name. We never heard of anything like that, please explain what it means and which consequences might imply for us. We have iBill as an alternate processor at our site. Thanks for any input. |
We have the same problems!
Anybody knows what could it be? |
