this is a steal, these emachines are usually cheap but i had one for years and the service and reliability was great. this is a great buy and i think i will buy 2 of them for my house

Trigem went under so they created eMachines. They both sucked.

uhm, you can build one with name brand pieces (that is actually upgradable) for less than that.

We got an e-machine once. It was the biggest peice of shit that I have ever owned, You could not do anything with it. It even had a hard time on the net with a high speed connection.

My last 2 computers were emachines and i never had any reliability problems but they were kind of slow. I just picked up a no name Athlon XP 2600 for $280, it's very nice for the price.

emachines suck. I had one, a friend got another, just build your own and you´ll be much better off :2 cents:

i owned an emachines and i had no problems what so ever.

only thing i disliked was this annoying splash screen with a big "E" on there when booting the pc and it stayed for like 2 minutes, but thats it!

If this was 1997, Id tell you to build your own. Today, pretty all the computers are reliable unless you put them outside while its raining.
