when will we get rid of this 2 party bullshit?

why the fuck do democrats and republicans have a stanglehold on politics? we need more independent thinking politicians who aren't chained down by party guidelines.

Won't happen. Those people don't get enough votes. I think only 5% is needed for federal funding, nobody ever gets it.

we could get lucky and a wormhole could open up between these two fucksticks sucking them onto oblivion.

theres plenty we can do about it.

1- eliminate lobbying in washington

2- raise up and change this government

3- or move to canada

KRL 09-30-2004 07:20 PM

The only way to do it is to eliminate the party system completely and I think we should.

wdsguy 09-30-2004 07:21 PM

In a dominant 2 party system, its very hard for a third party to emerge and become strong. Thats the political theory atleast

Conspiracy. It is a reuplican and democrat conspiracy. The electoral college is nothing more than a tool to get fewer people to vote and discourage people from voting 3rd party.

We should have no electoral college and use the Broda (sp?) count.

lol, not really -- none of these will get a real actuall canidate out of the other parties. I do think #1 is important - but if you think that will ever happen, well - lol

the KEY is to get a strong canidate..

i totally agree. i do not see the need for a party system today. our politics have become too complicated compared to politics of old.

we needs individual free-thinking people who can bring about change and clarity to america. and with that they should not be bogged down with being forced to make decisions based upon the stances of parties.

The problem we have is the beauracry of politics which is backed by extremely monied and powerful corporations and special interests that don't want anything to change because they in essence control government spending and how wealth is redistributed by the vacumming of our wallets by the system.
