Chaldoray 09-30-2004 01:32 PM

Ok, Thanks.
Can anyone get discounts?

Chaldoray 09-30-2004 01:46 PM

SO CAN ANYONE HERE GET ANY DISCOUNTS ON BOARDS?

Fukeneh 09-30-2004 01:52 PM

discounts arent hard to get, it all depends on what brand of board you want to buy.

Burton is #1 in my book.
Rome & Option are close seconds. Option is made in Canada. Burton is starting to make more and more of thiers overseas :( and im not sure where Rome manufactures out but thier company is mainly composed of ex-burton employees with a differant vision.

newbreed makes snowboards too. www.reactionsnowboards.com is the website.

kiana 09-30-2004 01:59 PM

salomon by far..i have a burton but wouldnt buy one again.
I get discounts on boards for me, but cant get for anyone else, sorry.
libtech aren't good at all, k2 are ok for tall guys, nitro are crap.....
either buy a salomon or top-range burton.
(i used to sell boards)

Nicky 09-30-2004 02:01 PM

Sims , Burton , Salomon :thumbsup I have a Burton

kiana 09-30-2004 02:05 PM

'ride' boards are decent too

Coming up on my 15th season riding... I started on a Burton Woody 135 and own a Seven Model today. I have always loved Burton's quality and professionalism, they stand 100% behind their products & I've bought tons of equipment from them over the years, nothing has ever failed me except a zipper handle broke on my biolite jacket. Sent it in and they sent it back all fixed up :) I have nothing but good things to say about them.

If you're looking for an all around versatile board, look into the Burton Custom like someone mentioned before. I've tried them out in the past and the are excellent, same with the Seven series.

BURTON 4 LIIIIIIIIIIFE!

Thanks for the plugs... The new site is NOT DONE yet, so don't rely on it's look alone to judge our boards...lol

If anyone is looking for a board, bindings, or helmets, hit me up, we will give anyone from GFY a nice setup for a good price. I would put my boards up against any other boards out there, any time, any place. All of our boards are made here in the US, not in a factory in China, so only the best quality materials (most of them designed custom for us) are used in the construction process. For anyone living in or around Ohio, we will be having several Demo Days at a couple of the parks in Ohio this year, so you are welcome to come out to them and check us out.

Anyway, hit me up anyone who has questions...

Explicit 09-30-2004 04:03 PM

im all about the burton baby

Explicit 09-30-2004 04:04 PM

its not just the snowboard you gotta look for - invest in some good bindings. if your strapping down shitty bindings every time you get off the lift, youll kick yourself in the ass.

Yes we do (well we have a design house do it and we take it from the approved design). We can do 1-1000 boards, but the one-offs are more expensive (for set-up reasons). Most of the designs are done in PhotoShop or some other graphics app, nothing special. Hit me up anytime and I can show you some boards we've done in the past!
