Make Sure You Get The JPEG Exploit Patch
Hackers are attempting to run the exploit via Instant Messinging trickery.
The exploit enables the hacker to load a backdoor module just by viewing an image and then gives them full control of your PC remotely. Attempts have been reported on AOL users already. |
I've seen a lot of those jpegs on the newsgroups also
|
yeah but i think they are resorting to spamming anyway it is deceptive but since that exploit was released i have gotten more im spams "check out my profile" when you check the profile its a link to someshite i didn't even check it out they're definately linking to the flawed image in the profiles they must get a lot of people like this

ok. this is what ive been told
you get an instant message from someone odds are that you know and was got in the same manner that says something along the lines of "Hey check out this new layout http://www.blah.org/ada" if you click that you become infested. if infested, your aim starts to aim everyone on your buddy list that message or a variation of it. pretty slick. |
