I am not sure, they only went to I think 25 tonight, they countdown the rest tomorrow (tonight for most of you if it's Thursday already).

BitterPen 09-30-2004 02:38 AM

The Alec Baldwin skit about Schwetty Balls has to be top 3. I will watch tonight and see... That is one of my all time faves!

Along with the "Don't Fear the Reaper" skit with Will Ferrel on the Cowbell.

:thumbsup

VirtuMike 09-30-2004 03:33 AM

Samurai Delicatessen was by far the single best skit ever on SNL.

Patrick Swayze and Chris Farley as Chippendale dancers is also at the top of the list.

King Tut is up there.

I think one of my favorite, which will never make that list, is Sebastien Bach, Rachel Bolan, and Slash sing the ABC's.

Jane, you ignorant slut!

HAHA yeah, those are both going to be on tomorrow according to the "sneak peek" trailers.

"Guess what? I got a fever. And the only prescription.. is more cowbell!"

Dan Ackroyd as Julia Child cutting the dickens out of her finger:glugglug

The gay beer commercial (Schlitz Gay?) with that Van Halen song was pretty funny. For some reason, I also liked Toonces the driving cat. It wasn't funny at all, yet I always looked forward to seeing it.

One of the biggest thrills of my life was getting to meet her briefly after a show at the Arie Crown theater in Chicago. She was my favorite celebrity by a landslide at the time. I miss her tremendously. I'm so glad I got to see her do all of her classic characters live:thumbsup

I think the beer clip was called Schmitz Gay, I've seen it on Kazaa. When you said Toonces it made me think of Dana Carvey's character Massive Headwound Harry (I had a tape where they followed each other:glugglug)

spanky part 2 09-30-2004 04:40 AM

Ya know when you take some of that sandpaper and rub it on you lips. Ya, and then you take some turpentine and pat it on........I hate when that happens.

What about the Will Ferrel in the hot tub sketch"
Luuuvvvvaaaaaa"

And Massive Headwound Harry just made me think of the guy named Larry Vagina. That was basically the whole skit -- following the life of a man named Larry Vagina. Another Dana Carvey skit that was hilarious was the effeminate heterosexual married man. His wife would bring male strippers for him on his birthday and whatnot. :1orglaugh

They interviewed him about that one, that skit was funny. He said he got the idea from one of his hairdressers who talked like he was gay, but would always say "I want a piece of that woman ass." :1orglaugh
