I did some reading and so far people say you get out and hold no cards for anything. It is just an expensive way to spend 4 years.

vixm 09-29-2004 11:57 PM

With Liberal Arts .. you can do the study of Porn, its Literature, Ats, and Philosophy

BradM 09-29-2004 11:58 PM

Think outside the box people. Imagine for a second PORN is NOT the whole world.

BRISK 09-29-2004 11:59 PM

It might not qualify you for many jobs, but hopefully you would have an education in subjects like psychology, sociology, history, philosophy, and political science.

I wish more people had an education in these subjects.

Brad,

Get your BA, then take your lsat and goto law school :)

Shortbread 09-30-2004 12:01 AM

Usually people use "Arts" degrees in the following ways:

A) To prove to people that they are not dumb and they can actually get a degree.
B) To become a teacher.
C) To go to Law School.

This is just a trend I have found.

Interesting idea. Not sure I want to get into law. I don't really have the mind for it.

That's the route I would go. My friend in Canada is getting his BA Arts and going to be a teacher.

Yup a four year party and then all you've got accomplished is to be able to say "yes" when an employer asks you if you have a degree and hope to hell they don't ask you any more questions about it. :)

Depends what you want to get out of life. If you want to make money and are making money now at your age stick with what you are doing. If you want to be a professional of sorts go to school. Although I dropped out of school after a couple years it was a fun time and a great life experience, lots of hot chicks anywhere you go.:)

Being that you are a young businessman with real world experience, you would most likely find business school to be a bad joke so I would stick with the arts.

wdsguy 09-30-2004 12:19 AM

Work for local government, or look for business related jobs.

That sounds like a fate worse than hell to me. Being a tax consultant with KPMG....woohoo....there's adventure!

You need a pretty good gimmick to make a living whining about social problems.
