I just got an iPod and I must say I'm falling in love with it. I'm sure quite a few of you guys have them. What do you guys think. Go Apple! :BangBang:

At first I thought it was kind of gay, but after using it a few times it quickly became my favorite gadget.

I agree with you on that, Vegas is definately a cool city :)

I picked one up for my wife when she got her x5, its kind of cool how you can control the ipod with the buttons on the steering wheel

i got an ipod mini.. works well.. just bad when working out and the wheel shafes against ur clothing.

I got one as a gift from a mainstream company. Never had so much of a hassle getting it setup. In fact its still not setup. First I had to pay customs nearly $80 for a gift. Thanks. Then it didn't come with a USB cable so I had to buy the converter for $35. Now, it freezes when I try loading songs onto it. Frustrating as hell for a supposedly free gift.

Anyone experience that problem?

Yeah, iPods rock, i got one in november - nifty little thing.

I've had mine for well over a year, going on 18-20 months I think, and I really havent noticed much in the way of diminishing battery life.

I don't use it as often as before for as long a period of time, not commuting the same way, so it doesnt really get the same usage except when Im working out or going on a long road trip, but still works pretty well in my opinion.

Anyway, I wouldnt use any other player, its just the best. :thumbsup

5 Dell Machines. All my devices have always been USB so I never opted for Firewire.

I did this as well and waited about 2 months for my it. I love this thing! I never planned on buying one, I wanted one of the i-river players, but my ipod is so cool! I got the new 20 gig one :thumbsup

so you hadda wait 2 months for it?? thats not bad, considering its free.... im just not looking fwd to ripping my the 1000+ cd's i own into mp3 format and figuring out which tracks of each i actually listen to

I've been thinking of buying an IPOD for the last 2 weeks. I almost bought it before flying out to Manila (for the long flight) but I decided against it as I really like the look of the I River.

Haven't got one but I'm sure it would be cool to. The ones I have seen look pretty shit though. But everyone seems to rave about them.

IPod Sucks!!! Had an IPod2 for more then a year and it freezes, lags, etc... and the battery life is very short!

have two of the 40gb'ers....they rock. Think they are gonna get stomped though when the new microsoft players come out....

Yea, my Ipod's battery fluctuates like no other. Even when I charged it all night. Pretty annoying.

LOL, now that I have it setup, the battery only lasts 30-40 minutes. What a pain in the ass. I'm considering cutting off traffic to this sponsor in retaliation for this pain!

got mine as a gift I had an archos player for my vacation in Europe and never really got into using it. . it kind of became my hard drive for my digital camera (one bonus feature of the archos)..

I have the itrip too . . I took it on a 3 week road trip. Only downside was remembering to charge it every night ( I didnt get a car adaptor STUPID mistake) The itrip is cool but in my car the ipod had to be very near the antenna to get reception . . I wanted to toss it in the console while it played but that didnt work. .

If you really want to make it easy on a road trip get a new bmw. :)
