country music fans please share

your favorite country songs. Apparently Garth Brooks is the highest selling artist in America yet I don't know if I've ever heard any of his songs. What's are the best of the best tunes...I'll download them. :thumbsup

One piece at a time
Guess Things Happen That Way

My favorites in that order too.

Garth's # 1 hit that made him was friends in low places back in 90.

I don't like country but it seemed like every club and bar played that song for 5 + years.

Actually, you probably know his music. You just don't know it.

Friends in Low Places
The Dance
The Thunder Rolls

He really is good.

Brad Pasiley is another good one, Lonestar (they sing Mr. Mom which is hilarious and almost true...)

Gretchen Wilson is a hottie. Terri Clark (Girls lie too), Alison Kraus has the voice of an angel.... Big and Rich "Save a Horse... Ride a Cowboy"

I could go on.

I listened to alternative for a while, but all that music started sounding the same and was um, rather dumb (The White Stripes?? They suck) so I changed the dial on the radio and landed on country.....

I will check those... yeah, I thought I must have heard a Garth song considering his popularity, but I wouldn't know it was him.

I agree, White Stripes and new alternative SUCKS - no talent (yet they're so highly acclaimed, shame). I'm finding a need for something new. Thanks again.
