I was looking into the dining room and noticed the lighting fixture moving back and forth. I was staring at it for a few minutes wondering if we had a quake that I didn't feel, or am I seeing things?

I guess it was moving.

Never experienced an earthquake. I would be terrified...how do people that live in earthquake zones tolerate it?

Well they don't come that often. I've lived in LA for 5 years and haven't felt one.

bdld 09-29-2004 06:05 PM

hopefully all these 5.0's arent a warmup to an even bigger one.

D-man 09-29-2004 06:06 PM

nope didn't feel a thing

airpal 09-29-2004 06:19 PM

Was thinking of moving to Florida, 4 hurricanes in a row. Was thinking of moving to California, major earthquake with aftershocks. Maybe New Jersey with its ice cold winters, rainy summers, and constant 24/7 gridlock traffic isn't so bad after all.

On second thought, I'll just manage with the earthquakes. :)

Vitasoy 09-29-2004 06:21 PM

Just wait for the big one fellas ;)
