Which one(s) do not allow it in any form?

Since I have no filters on my email.....I get mail from most of them....
Why would that prevent you from promoting them? |

Anyone who thinks that most of the biggest programs today in ANY niche adult or herbal were not built on mail/spam are kidding themselves.
Im not saying everyone mails right now. But most have derived revenue from mailing at some point. Mailing is part of the business. Get over it. I swear mailing is like the dirty secret of the the industry. Like masturbation, everybody does it but no one talks about it. -Tony |

I find spyware and popups to be particularly annoying, spam dosent bother me as it can be easily deleted and dosen't attempt to hijack my computer. Hell, Sony spammed me the other day for digital camera promotion. It even stated in the email that it is an 'Unsolicited Commercial Email Offering' with a remove link. |

But it comes from everywhere anymore, and deleting one turns into deleting many. I use to dread coming to my inbox after even a couple days away from the computer. (I now have a filter that gets them with 99%or better accuracy so it really is not a problem for me) If users even had the option of replying, or opting out of these emails it wouldn't be so bad either. As it stands, the 20+ spam in my spam folder from the last hour, all contain forged headers, unworkable optout links(opt out so we can prove our lists are active when we sell them 10x over), complete gibberish and completely lack any ad qualities that would make me want to even click anything) At least in the old days some of the ads were good. I doubt spam is going anywhere soon as I am sure it does well for some folks. BUT. There are businesses out there that are not doing it, and if they are, are not being quite as obvious. :) I'll agree on the adware/spyware-- Do you promote a sponsor that advertise with companies that do this?(Hotbar, Gator for instance?) But we will have to agree to disagree about the spam:) |
