Does anyone use php
I was about 98% finished re-writing my site with cgi/html then this php started floating around in cj's scripts and whats not.
I heard that is is faster or something,so I been checking up at php.resourceindex.com Couple of nice script there. Should I still stick with cgi ? Whats the go with Php |
IMHO, PHP is a lot easier to use/learn than Perl/CGI

Go with PHP, you can complete tasks quicker with PHP then you can with CGI/PERL.
The best thing that languages like PHP, ASP and Cold Fusion allow you to do, is worry less about programming and more about your business logic. They simplify tasks so you can worry about making sure things work logically and not worry about syntax as much. |
php is pretty fat. All my server side stuff is php.

Well thanks.
See my server is php ready I'll give it a try. |
