she has psychic powers. Shes not the best, but shes pretty good.

How about John Edward. He rocks!!! That is one awesome guy to speak to teh dead!!!

She's a large piece of shit who preys on the gullible.

John Edwards is even worse, giving people false hope with his carnival side show tricks.

I've seen her on talk shows where she tells people all kind of things, even who murdered a loved one. I'd like to see a "follow-up" show with audience members she's read and how much of it panned out.

I have one of her books. It was a good read. She makes a lot of sense in some areas. If anything her insight can help open your mind.

She's never been successful. In fact there was a family in California who she "told" where there missing daughter was alive and well with a kidnapper, after the family spent a great deal of their savings looking where she said, he body turned up on the other side of the state, and had been dead before Sylvia gave them her "reading".
There's never been a documented case of a psychic successfully helping the police, the only antecdotes you ever hear are from the psychics themselves.
And why haven't any of them ever claimed the 1 million dollar prize offered by the jref? Even if they didn't need the cash, they could give it to a charitable cause.

I agree with you MattO...........I can't believe ppl fall for that shit. It all reminds me of one time I had a friend who was selling MLM health products, and pulled me along to one of the meetings for these products.

Well, out came a man from the back to the front, the main speaker who travelled all over the country touting these "great products" that could make you so healthy. Trouble was, he looked about as healthy as Gollum does, all pasty with sunken eyes. I equate shills such as he was with Sylvia Browne and the bullshit artist, John Edward.

She works with a ton of law enforcement agencies locating missing bodies from murders so she has some special abilities.

I believe this proves that law enforcement are gullible humans rather than it proving anything else :)

I think she has psychic powers, I usually watch her when shes on Montel.

She's interesting and she gives people hope. I think she has a gift for what she does, but that might not mean being actually psychic.

Trickery or not, it FREAKS me out when

You're wrong. I met John about 15 years ago in a meditation class (he was also a student). Back then he was totally obsessed and commited to developing his psychic abilities and worked very hard at it. He completely believes in what he does and is quite good at it.

Bravo............I've seen his show and when he is going cold, he quickly switches gears or tries to deflect attention to the fact that he's bombing with forced humor.......which of course the studio audience laps up. He asks questions with ferrarri-like speed.........its a complicated game of 20 Questions ppl........no more no less..........
