Ibill is scanning for compliance!
Probably a very good thing if they are checking all the sites. They wouldn't bother if they were on their way out.
They found the word "pedo" on one of mine hidden in some Java: <!-- var netscapeDOM = ( document.layers ) ? true : false; var microsoftDOM = ( document.all ) ? true : false; See it? I called down to ask if I had to change this and the support guy said all bad words must go so now I am redoing our coding. In addition to all my other problems I have to worry about them cutting off an account over this. Sigh. |
Thats pretty retarded if you ask me.
|
It's no big deal, it's clearly an automated check.
I found it encouraging that they were doing it...They wouldn't bother if they were packing up. :thumbsup |
Yeah, the new buyers want a clean network. :)

wow

They should have someone write a better scanner.
They found "zoo" and my site and thought I did beast, the real word was "zoom" (as in zoom in with a webcam)... Changed it and mailed them back, never got an answer. |
They did write us back that they were going to fix this particular issue. Very impressed with how on the ball they are with this.
:thumbsup |
Uhm not very intelligent to scan for non single standing words, but for *word* stuff.
|
I got one for the word "forced".
In this sentence: This agreement shall be governed by, construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the state of California. |
I had the same with another processor. I used the word BEaSTAR in a url. But they read it as BEASTar...Oh well:)
|
Shitty that you have the extra work, but the fact that they're doing it is encouraging.
