Video Editting - Sp2 Update Fucked?
 

Anyone else having trouble with video editting softwares after updating Sp2? That's the only thing I can think of that has changed on my computer .. and SEVERAL different programs aren't working correctly anymore.


Please tell me i'm not the only one.

I had a few programs not run correctly.. try re-installing them..

Why do people insist on downloading that garbage from microsoft. First off your editing computer should be off line so then you dont need anything higher than sp1 . Antivirus take up too much resources off line you dont need it ,no hackers etc.

SP2 is the devil. Luckily the computer I tested it out wasn't tooo fucked up and I could do a system restore. But there are some major problems with SP2 in general.

never caused any problems with your Editing machines but we decided to rolled it back to SP1 after Microsoft released the patch for SP2.

I have been holding off on downloading SP2 for my editing workstation just so I don't have any hassles. I have heard both horror stories as well as people that say they haven't had any problems.
