The internet in the future - the end!
How do you thing the internet will look in 3-5 years.
Here is how i see it. The end started 2 years ago with the first popup killers, now that is a part on SP2. So no popups! The browsers with no ads, no cookie is allready out there, so my guess is that, explore in the future allso will block ads and dont use cookies. It the future, everyone will surf thru proxies and the ref code from what site you came from is allso been removed. All ready now, Dmoz dont list sites useing tradescripts, so very soon the first browser with a addon to remove tradescript codes is coming. Microsoft allready told the world that Longhorn will secure that noone can use unlegal software and i thing they allso going to secure that noone cant visit sites no approw by microsoft. This allready begon: Google filter sites for the chiness goverment, so dont thing i cant be done. I allso thing Microsoft will make a micropayment for the approwed sites, so every time a surfer hits a website, microsoft get money. That is how i see the internet future, only 3-4 years forward. |
unlegal ?

Interesting thoughts...

Made some good points there, just a little mus-spelled thugh.

exploiting is the future!
seams like all the big corporation are gonna OWN internet |
Everything is driven by commerce and content.
Your words are draconian at best with no estimation of the flip side's future regarding applicable rise of more advanced services concerning content driven business models. Personally I think the internet will be a wasteland as the technology becomes more content driven than commerce driven with far more applications than PC's PDA's and other communications devices for the consuming of information. Your television sets, car stereo's will be used for example and the selections of what you might be interested in buying on the these future services you will pay for. Thats right you will pay people to send you commercial's and advertising. |
Sorry for the misspelling :)
The only thing i see going our way, is that without porn, there will not be a internet. So the furture pornsites are useing micropayment, but i cant see how there will be submitted galleries to sites like thehun, becouse the gallerysubmitter will not get any payments, from signups. (no cookie and no linkingcode to sponsors) |
Microsoft doesn't own the internet and the second they try to hold sites ransom with payments for their shitty browser to hit them is the day they start to die.

They will never have it locked down that bad.

as David Lynch portrayed in one of his movies we soon will have a Windows Church.
better future when you see yourself making more money. |
Cookies isnt a good method to track signups anyway, sponsors need to change the way they track signups.
And the traffic trading can be solved too. Send traffic to a URL like this: www.domain.com/yoursite.com or something, we just need new and better scripts. The samething with sponsors, they can use them same method instead of using "?affiliate=someone" Most of that stuff can be solved, BUT "noone cant visit sites no approw by microsof", that is just retarded. "Longhorn will secure that noone can use unlegal software". This can actually be a good thing. I think opensource will grow alot cause of this. |
I'll just wait and see things pan out, theres always back doors ;)

Where is the Grammar Police ?
allready allso useing unlegal allready begon dont thing i cant be done Are you a 5 year old or just a complete analphabet? |

Just to reinforce my point.
How accurate are todays search engines? I think todays search engines are by no means accurate at all. Infact todays Search Engines are VERY clumsy. |

I think misleading and frauding surfers thru popups hell, exit, skimming, exploit, spyware, etc. will become harder and harder as time goes by. Other than that, it will be business as usual honest internet companies.
|
And we wonder why people are being driven away with pissing contests of this caliber.
|
Look at how much the internet has changed in the past 4 years.
3-4 years from now it is either going to be impossible to use the internet because of all the scumbags out there, or it will be totally locked-down with security. :2 cents: |
this wont happen since there are standarts

Wow Sexzity your thoughts are the worst nightmare of every webmaster out there, not only the adult webmasters. But just do not look so bad on the things. Lets take a look at the good side :)
As everyone knows for every action of the big companies there is opposite reaction. Popup blockers appeared - people invented new popups still to popup even if there is popup blocker installed. And who do you think is writing these new popups? Well the programmers of the popup blockers mainly, and they spread it to everyone. SP2 popup blocker appeared - people invented new popups still to appear even on SP2... So my thoughts are that this business will never end since this is part of very big thing. Lets not forget Bill Gates invented the Internet, and because of it he makes so much money..he will not close it right away... the Internet business is component of the business of the big companies..they use it to develop their products..Also there are really lots of money in the Internet and they will not be stopped. Lets not forget everything in our life becomes electronic and I personally think that the biz in the real world might stop in the future, not the Internet business :) |
