Whats your favorite so far this year?

extreme home makeovers. but its not new this year. still a very cool show. best one on TV in my opinion. They actually help people out. instead of another bullshit fake drama ass TV show with some dumbass name like OC, or one tree hill, or some shit that nobody cares about.

Doctor Dre 09-28-2004 01:51 AM

American Choppers and Growing up Gotti . I don't listen to either thought ... just when I zap and find them

detoxed 09-28-2004 01:51 AM

detoxed 09-28-2004 01:58 AM

Smallville is good stuff but I never get to watch it. I only watch about 4 or 5 hours of TV a week. and thats usually accumulated on late night stuff when im trying to fall asleep.

I bought my sister season 1 and 2 on DVD, hopefully she will let me borrow them and I can catch up on the show a little.

You aren't missing too much with season 1 and 2. It's just starting to get good now. I don't blame you for only watching that much TV. There is absolutely nothing good on which only enables my News Junky habits of cruising c-span, msnbc, fox, and cnn.

WickedVenus 09-28-2004 02:17 AM

Extreme Makover Home Edition. I keep getting up early every sunday morning but no Tye is using teh blowhorn. Oh well maybe next sunday. Will let you guys know when they show up and will show you before and afters.

I haven't watched the Real World since the 3rd season when they kicked off Puck.

Mike Panic 09-28-2004 05:30 AM

as soon as the new season of the soprano's starts... that will be my sunday night addiction again

also - shows i can't stand right now but watch anyway:

american chopper
biker buildoff

i work at a custom motorcycle shop (not a dealership), we actually build choppers and do custom work to street bikes (custom paint to turbo's)

currently, we are building a 300 wide tire rigid for a customer, its partially together in mock up form in the showroom. everyday people ask if its a west coast chopper or OCC bike. it gets old. we have other choppers come in for various work/upgrades/paint/maintaince and its always the same thing w/ them

just like last summer there wasnt a day that went by that someone didnt mention biker boys about the sport bikes we have in the showroom.

its not really a bad thing - it is somewhat informing the masses that motorcycles are good stuff and that they arnt all about outlaws - but at the same time, its not very realistic. an average chopper can take 6-18 months to build. everything is always on backorder, customers are always changing their minds about parts and nothing ever fits. showing people that these things go together in 30-45 days isnt realistic. the sad part is that they dont show the overnight fedex bills that these bike shops on tv have to pay to get their parts.

the other big false-hood is that it costs 100k to build a chopper... so everytime we have one in the shop or building one, someones gotta ask about that. realisticly its about 1/2-1/3rd of that for a nice bike... about 1/2 for a kick ass bike w/ serious power

ok - dun venting

Bama 09-28-2004 07:00 AM

Mondays - MNF of course!
Tuesdays - Navy NCIS - great show
Wed - West Wing when it premieres
Thursday - Joey (good so far), Without A Trace
