So Why Has The Sig Sale Bubble Re-Inflated Itself?
 

Has anything happened recently in the industry that would make sponsors spend upwards of 5k on peoples sigs?

Thats the only explanation i can think of right now.

Anyone got a clue?

Or desperation? A tougher market yet still getting people popping up almost daily with a new affiliate program? The smarter people know branding works and those that can afford to do it and still make a comfortable profit will be here for a long time to come.

since im still considered a n00b on this site... i havnt sold a sig yet...the banner in for GetTipsy.com in my sig is actually my site - not a paid one

BTW - not that it's enforced much but careful with the banner. Only buttons are allowed for 'non-top slot' sponsors etc. Just so you know if you turn up one day and find your sig changed :)
