Every time I type a URL, and it doesn't exist, I get taken here

Look back over the last week or so where registry changes were discussed. Sounds like someone whacked you there with activeX changes or something like that.

Oh oh! Well they will fix that as soon as they read this. I said a week or so but I think it was actually a little less. So just skim the headers of the threads for those asking that sort of help. At least one tells you right where to go in the registry to look.
