LOL Our givernment just banned large size chocolate!
Tony Blair has gone too far this time! They have banned large sized chocolate bars among other things in an effort to make the nation healthier.
It would be a great thing if the country was healthier but telling us what size chocolate we can buy is going too far.... |
|
My 2nd home is near Hershey, PA. I'll send you a 10 lb Hershey bar. :winkwink:

Oh - and you can keep the hershie bar. It doesn't even come close to the taste of a huge bar of cadburys :) |
The Cadbury vending machines crack me the hell up. Only Cadbury thing I can remember seeing in the states are the annual Cream Eggs.

brb.. off to the 24hr arage to get some cream eggs :glugglug |
1 medium chocolate bar + 1 medium chocolate bar = 1 large chocolate bar :winkwink:
I don't eat much candy, but I'd be pissed if the government told me how large my streaks could be. |

... very strange! |
What's funny is several people in the States want similar restrictions on foods. It's absolutely ridiculous.

I'm surprised indeed.. not that I'm a chocolic but how's that?
|

I suppose at least it wasn't the Sun 'reporting' it this time. |
I guess he wasn't smart enough to realize that people can just buy three or four of the smaller ones if they feel like pigging out.
|
The should ban all chocolate until they stop using child slaves to make it. :2 cents:
|
Blah people wiill just eat more small chocolates :P
|
my god that is so stupid,
does anyone feel like that is a good use of time/energy/money? |

Go BlAiR! |
Sorry - missed the BBC link. So...it's not really a true ban. Mearly a suggestion in a government report that confectionary produces have jumped on to remove unprofitable lines and gain some huge, free publicity :glugglug

(if you dont know the fax tax story this is about extra tax going onto unhealthly food much the same way as cigarette tax but on the producer, but not that high obviously. |
LOL, just wait until a bunch of pms'ing women find out they can't buy a large chocolate bar when they need it the most. It could get real ugly for Blair....:winkwink:

Tony Blair needs to do something about that! :1orglaugh |
Just like when fast food places cut out supersize people will just order 2 packs of fries.
|
God damnit.
I'm a chocoholic, living in the U.K.. this wont stop people from buying chocolate lol. What baffles me is why they decide to ban shit like this, instead of creating rec. centres that work, or more gyms. This is starting to become G.W.B's U.K :321GFY |
lol wow that is ridiculous!
Besides, all they need to do is rename the sizes like they do with pizza, except add a new Super Jumbo Large size that is auto-banned. Then you can order a medium and get a large. Oh and yeah, nothing beats a nice dark chocolate.. |
Your country is so pathetic you aren't even allowed to choose what food you can eat.
:1orglaugh :1orglaugh |
what about the skinny guys who need to eat them just to keep their weight?
