I just don't understand what it accomplishes to say it's the worst it's ever been. Like that's really gonna make people change the way they post or go away.

Any time a board grows to the size of GFY, which this is the only monster of it's kind for our biz, you get a few dumb asses posting. Who gives a shit if there's a few dumb asses, don't read their threads and ignore them.

I think GFY is a dynasty and will be the top board for a long time to come.

Thanks GFY for providing a great platform to meet people, network and do real business in the middle of doing no business.

So many people like to post negatives about GFY and start threads, so I'd like to be one of those people who start the positives about GFY and give my appreciation.

Where else do people pay crazy money for sigs of people that were basically no names before chat board posting?

It's a fun board, but all the political threads about the upcoming election has really kept me from posting lately. Definitely different than it was a year ago, always changing...

The question is, how many GFY "webmasters" started off as porn lurkers, then learned how to be a webmaster from reading this board?

We all get our start somewhere.

And would a porn lurker have as much fun if they knew it was called a "porn lurker" board? Or does the fact that it's an industry of people that gives them that thrill? I could care less about those people myself, but the reality is, they might make you money one day and become a part of our biz. If not, they'll get bored of all this industy talk and find a surfer board somewhere.

I think the people that post here do a good job of moderating these outsiders and scare them away.

Even with some lurkers, it's still the best webmaster board with the most webmasters.

This board has been a huge jumbled vortex of piss, opinions, idiots and industry news since it fucking started. It is what it is.... and anyone who has been around since the first year will tell you that sure it flows and evolves with new faces added constantly..... but it is the same in that it is just as much GFY today as it was back then.

good post, I used to lurk on this board, for quite some time while I was doing all my posting on a diffrent board. I hated this board at first. Then I came to realize your connections are everything in this biz and GFY is the biggest connecting place for online adult.

So I started posting and started to like the board.. I now wish I didn't post quite so much. I spend waaay too much time reading threads here.

It's entertaining, it's a resource and a way to do business.


GFY is better today then last year, or the year before, etc.

Why?

Because more people post on it today then ever. If the numbers were shrinking, I'd say otherwise.
