yeah, i'm looking to do thousands of images, and i know there are dedicated programs.. otherwise it'd be photoshop all the way :D

Ive done thousands via the batch command in photoshop. Running into memory problems or something?

nah, just assumed there wqere dedicated programs for it. I'll have a play :D

actually.. if i'm loading up images of random size, and i want it max 500 on any edge, i dont think i can make it do that.. can i?

Also great for auto renaming, manipulating directories and cataloguing images. Not so great at making thumbs, though.

If you're batch resizing with TP, you can select the height & width to be 500x500, check autocrop, and all the images will have 500px on the long side. You can also overlay any text or image anywhere on the pics.

I've been using this software since the mid 90s. Very simple, fast and convenient.

I am sure someone who is much better at photoshop than I can explain it, as I am sure it is possible. I am entirely self taught in just the things I need to know in photoshop.
