My condo in FL is GONE!!!
 

Well I got a letter from the people that run the resort that my condo is at in Vero Beach FL saying that after the last hurricane, they are closed indefinately and it was postmarked 5 days before Hurricane Jeanne hit them.

Total suckage, anyone from the board live around there? I'm in Vero on Orchard Island.

Have good insurance?

fuck, vero? it wasnt hit that bad, my father has 5 houses there and theyre pretty much ok..

I am so glad I moved far away. I would never purchase beach property in Florida .

Didnt they pass some insurance law that they don't cover hurricanes anymore.... I think this went into effect after Andrew back in the 90's..not sure though
